jews on christmas

as the very wise kyle broflovski once said…

“it’s hard to be a jew on christmas”

well, i guess that is if you really practice your religion. but that’s beside the point.

as a “jew”, i still practice the yearly christmas tradition of chinese food and the movies on christmas day. although i think this year we’ll be skipping the chinese food, as the last few times made me feel like a giant turd.

i think we’re going to end up seeing “the spirit” which opens tomorrow. we try to make an early enough show that people are still celebrating, but not so early we miss dinner at nonna’s. last year we saw “sweeney todd”. it was actually not bad. i hear tim burton is doing “alice in wonderland”. can’t wait to see that piece of trash. can’t he just do original stuff again? what’s with the remakes? “edward scissorhands” rocked!

anyway, this is just going to be a short post to wish everyone a very merry christmas, happy hanukkah, merry/happy/joyous kwanzaa or whatever holiday you’re celebrating.

drink one for me.
